Interview

01.Please tell us about your work.

I work in sales within a team that handles OEM and ODM for select shop apparel manufacturers. While many members of our team deal with overseas production, about 90% of my work involves domestic production, handling a wide variety of small-lot products.

02.What do you find rewarding about your job?

I feel a great sense of accomplishment when clients choose the fabric I most recommend from my proposals and it turns into a final product that meets high standards. Additionally, seeing someone on the street wearing a product from a project I was involved in brings me immense joy.

03.What do you keep in mind while working?

I always make sure to check the previous items and lineups our clients have handled, as well as similar products. I also take into consideration the casual wear of the person in charge at the client's side. From this, I aim to grasp their preferences and trends to come up with new ideas and make good proposals.

04.What challenges do you want to take on in the future?

I would like to make new proposals using not only past samples and those provided by factories but also samples I have planned myself. Furthermore, I aim to be able to make proactive proposals to our clients by not only planning designs but also exploring new fabric manufacturers that offer unique materials.
